How to validate your sending domain

Sender validation helps protect your email reputation by ensuring that you only send emails from domains you own or have permission to use, not to be confused with Domain Authentication. It prevents unauthorized users from sending messages on your behalf and is an essential step for email deliverability and compliance.

Whenever you type a From Address while creating a mailing, our system will automatically check to see if the domain is verified. If it's not, you’ll be prompted to complete the domain verification process. You can also manually manage your sending domains at any time.

⚠️ Important: Due to strict DMARC enforcement, free webmail domains such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, and aol.com are not supported for sending. You must use a custom domain that you own.

How to Add and Manage Sending Domains

  1. Go to your Account tab.

  2. Click on Campaign Settings.

  3. Select Sending Domains.

Account > Campaign Settings > Sending Domains

From this section, you’ll be able to:

  • Verify a New Domain
To begin the domain verification process, click the Verify a New Domain button. This option starts the domain verification process. You'll be asked to enter the domain name you wish to use. Our system will send a verification email to an address at that domain containing a unique confirmation link. Once the link is clicked, the domain becomes verified and can be used as a sending domain.

  • Resend Verification Email
If your initial verification email has expired or was never received, you can trigger a resend by clicking the mail icon in the Action column. Be sure to double-check your spam or junk folders, as automated verification emails can occasionally be filtered by mail clients.

  • Revoke Verification
To disable a previously verified domain, click the prohibition sign icon to Revoke Verification. If you no longer want to send from a previously verified domain, you can revoke its verification. Once a domain is revoked, it will no longer be available as a sending option until it is verified again. This is useful if you're deprecating a domain, making ownership changes, or tightening account access.

  • Delete This Domain
To permanently remove a domain from your account, click the trash can icon to access the Delete This Domain function. This is helpful when cleaning up old or unused domains.
  • DMARC Domain Authentication
The padlock icon in the status column indicates whether a domain has a DMARC policy in place.
      • An open padlock means no DMARC policy is detected.
      • A closed padlock means the domain has an active DMARC policy, helping protect your messages from spoofing and improving deliverability.

Maintaining a clean list of verified sending domains helps ensure the integrity and security of your email campaigns.
