History

Genesis

ReachMail was conceived at Publishing Dynamics Inc, which at the time was primarily a web design firm located in Naperville, Illinois. At that time Customers wanted a solution to extend their digital marketing to the Email platform. Shortly thereafter ReachMail was born. How the name ReachMail came to be is now lost to history. Doesn't matter, we still like it.

ReachMail quickly evolved and picked up customers at a rapid pace. From the beginning, customer needs were the primary driver of the direction of the service.

Standing Alone

Soon it became clear that ReachMail needed to stand on its own and not be part of an agency. Under new dedicated management, ReachMail completely revamped and modernized the infrastructure and moved the headquarters to the Chicago Loop. The focus migrated to improve customer service by offering free support via Email and phone to all customers large and small.

Easy-SMTP

The next chapter in ReachMail was the introduction of Easy-SMTP, an exceptionally powerful transactional Email service. In addition to or instead, customers could send individual messages via the SMTP protocol or an easy-to-use API one a time with the same excellent delivery of the core ReachMail bulk marketing service. The goal was to provide a transactional Email product that set a new benchmark in ease of use and capability.

Easy-SMTP makes it easy to track opens and clicks in your transactional Emails (receipts, confirmations, etc.) and be able to determine if your recipient successfully interacted with it.

Social Media Integration

As Social Media was rising in popularity as a marketing platform ReachMail introduced automated sharing of Email campaigns on Facebook at Twitter feeds. Then customers can track the responses to the campaign on Email as well as social media platforms all on one dashboard. Over time we added LinkedIn and more customization of the appearance of posts and continues to grow in popularity with marketers since it saves time and money.
